Pricing

My rates are competitive. Being competitive, however, they are not the cheapest. My rates are negotiable and offered uniquely per project basis and generally depend on:

  • content: technical/specialized or general,

  • document forms: electronic or hardcopy; if electronic, formatting and file types (text only, require DTP, require checking for html and xml, etc.),

  • length of work; the longer the document to be translated the more likely I am willing to negotiate,

  • urgency; non-urgent work involves non-technical work of maximum 3000 words per day, and technical work of maximum 2000 words per day,

  • turnaround time; whether or not the work require working on weekends or after-hours

  • purpose of translation: information only, for publication, or legal purposes

I can also negotiate a flat rate for all types of translation materials, especially for a regular work with a regular customer.

 

Payment

I receive payments via various methods: demand draft/bank draft transfer (a low-cost alternative to wire/telegraphic transfer) (strongly preferred), wire/telegraphic transfer, bank drafts, checks, International Money Orders, Western Union, and cash. Unfortunately, in Indonesia, PayPal e-payment is not available yet, and for the time being, I cannot yet process credit cards.

 

Unless otherwise agreed in advance, payment terms as stated in the terms & conditions page shall apply for my services. Invoice will be sent to you upon the delivery of the work. Sample of my invoice template can be seen here.
